GEI is located in a 15,000 square-foot facility at 5600 Bintliff Drive in Houston, Texas. This facility consists of engineering offices and 8,000 square feet of laboratory. In this facility, GEI maintains a fully equipped soil mechanics laboratory and a construction materials laboratory for testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and steel.
Geotest is accredited by The American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). Geotest is also a member of the Texas Council of Engineering Laboratories (TCEL). We are regularly inspected by the US Army Corp of Engineers, City of Houston, TxDOT, METRO, and the Harris County Flood Control District. In addition, we participate in AMRL, CCRL and TxDOT reference sampling programs. Geotest is a certified HUB, DBE and MBE with various local, state and federal agencies including the City of Houston, State of Texas, HISD, METRO, Houston Minority Business Council and the Port of Houston.
